Located in the centre of Japan, Chubu consists
of 9 prefectures: Aichi, Gifu, Shizuoka, Fukui, Ishikawa,
Toyama, Nagano, Niigata and Yamanishi. It accomodates the
4th largest city in Japan,
Nagoya
and is host to a number of enjoyable attractions.

- Nagano - Host to the 1998 Winter Olympic games, this
prefecture is a favourite for skiers during the winter months.
- Mt. Fuji - Part of the 'Japan alps' running through the
Chubu region, this is the nations highest mountain.
