Arguably Japan's most notable region. It consists of 7 prefectures:
Tokyo (metropolis),
Chiba, Saitama,Kanagawa, Ibaraki, Tochigi and Gunma.
As 'the most highly developed, urbanized, and industrialized
part of Japan' this region has a great deal to offer.

- Yokohama
- Kamakura - The base of government during the Kamakura
period, this city is rich in history. There are a number
of temples and shrines to visit and in the summer months
the sandy beaches are the perfect backdrop for relaxation.
