About Kyushu...

Kyushu is the most southern of the main islands of Japan.
It's climate is generally warm and humid and visitors both Japanese and non-Japanese
go to experience the infamous and abundant hot springs that exist there.

Places to visit:

Please see link
Nagasaki
Significant from a historical point of view as it was one of a handful of ports that allowed foreign trade during Japan's period of isolation. It is probably more famous as the second city to be hit by the A-bomb in the Second World War.
Beppu
Arguably the most famous hot spring area in the world. Tourists are welcome to hop into the communal hot springs to sit back and relax often free of charge.
Mount Aso
Located in the centre of Kyushu it is an active volcano with the largest caldera in the world.
