Nagoya - Takayama
11:20am - Assemble at Hotel Associa Nagoya Terminal and walk to Nagoya Sta. Take the limited express (Hida) to Takayama Sta. |
3pm - Visit Yatai Kaikan Hall (30 min. walk) as well as Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum (20 min. walk) and stroll along the old worldly streets of Kami Sannomachi.

Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa (Todays travelling done by motorcoach, van, sedan or taxi)
8:30am - Visit the Morning Market of Takayama (30min. drive). Drive through Lake Miboro whilst enjoying the view and visit the former residence of the Toyama family (30min. drive) Drive to Shirakawago/Gassho-Zukuri (90 min. drive) and wonder around the old style village then experience the making od Japanese paper in Gokayama (60 min. drive). |

9am - Depart by coach to Kenrokuen Gardens, one of the three famed gardens of Japan (60min. drive). Visit Kutaniyaki pottery kiln (30 min. drive), immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ‘Higashi-chaya street’ and Former Guest house "Shima" (30 min. drive),
Kanazawa - Tokyo
From Kanzawa Sta. take the limited express train (Shirasagi) to Nagoya Sta. then board the bullet train (Nozomi) to Tokyo Sta.

One Way Trip (Not applicable to Nagoya)
Your Baggage will be transported by land from Kyoto to Tokyo or Tokyo to Kyoto with allowance of one piece per person. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you carry a light overnight bag. For extra baggage 2,200 will be charged per piece.
Round Trip (not applicable to Nagoya)
Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry you own. However, trains do not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large baggage at your hotel in Kyoto/Tokyo while you travel by train.

- We Recommend you prepare casual clothes and comfortable shoes suitable for walking and also bring an overcoat or any warm for winter season from October - February.
- You are requested to inform your staying place before/after this tour upon booking,
- This tour is offered for travellers from overseas only.
- When "Former Toyama Family Residence" is closed for when snow is heavy in winter, you will visit "Gassho-Zukuri Folklore Park" instead.
- Lake Miboro may be skipped due to heavy snow fall.
- Depending on traffic/weather condition, or other operational reasons, motorcoach may be used for tranfer from Nagoya Station to Takayama Station.
