This 3 day tour takes you from Tokyo to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go, Takayama & Kanazawa.
Day 1: 9:00 a.m.
Depart Hamamatsucho Station by motorcoach. At Tokyo Station, board a Nozomi Shinkansen (bullet train) for Nagoya (100 min.). At Nagoya Station, board a limited express for Takayama (150 min.). After arriving, visit the following on foot.
Yatai Kaikan Hall (30 min.)
This popular facility displays some of the colorfully decorated festival floats used in the famous Takayama Festival.
Kusakabe Folk Museum (20 min.)
This large, historical townhouse was formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage.
Kami Sannomachi Street (30 min.)
Located in Takayama's old quarter, this street is lined with Edo period buildings, giving visitors a glimpse back in time.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Arrive at Hida Hotel Plaza and check in. Stay the night.
Day 2: 8:30 a.m.
Takayama Morning Market (30 min.)

Takayama's morning markets feature produce and various goods and souvenirs all grown and made locally. The markets are frequented by locals and visitors alike. After the market, proceed to Takayama Station on foot and board a local bus to Shirakawago.
Wada Residence & Gassho-zukuri Village (180 min.)
Visit the World Heritage-registered village of Shirakawago with its traditional, thatch-roofed farmhouses. The Wada Residence is a particularly large farmhouse that visitors can enter and tour. After, continue to Kanazawa by local bus (75 min.).
3:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Arrive at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa and check in. Stay the night.
Day 3: 8:30 a.m.
Depart the hotel and visit the following by motorcoach.
Kenrokuen Garden (60 min.)
This beautiful garden is considered one of the top three Japanese gardens.
Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln (30 min.)
Visit a kiln where a traditional kind of Japanese pottery from this region is produced.
Nomura Residence (30 min.)
See the historical home of a local samurai. After, return to Kanazawa Station and board a limited express to Nagoya (180 min.). At Nagoya Station, board a Nozomi Shinkansen to Tokyo (100 min.).
7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Tour disbands at Tokyo Station.

Remarks
1. We recommend casual attire and comfortable shoes suitable for the walking tour on Day 1, and also to bring an overcoat or any warm clothing for winter season from October, chilly month, to February, snow month.
2. Requested to inform your staying place before/after this tour when make a booking.
3. This tour is offered for travelers from overseas only.
4. When "Former Toyama Family Residence" is closed, or when snow is heavy in winter, visit "Gassho-zukuri Folklore Park" instead.
5. Lake Miboro may be skipped due to heavy snow in winter.
6. Depends on traffic/weather condition or other operational reasons, motorcoach will be used for transfer from Nagoya station to Takayama station.
7. When booking 3 people in one room, Japanese-Western style rooms will be arranged for delux room in Hida Hotel Plaza. Enjoy sleeping on tatami mats.
