Day 1: Narita Airport - Tokyo
JTB staff will meet you as you exit customs at Narita Airport and escort you to a reserved taxi that will take you to your hotel. Please note that the staff will not accompany you to your hotel.
The rest of Day 1 is free.
Day 2: Tokyo
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel. Take a morning tour of Tokyo by motorcoach and visit Tokyo Tower (40 min.), Imperial Palace Plaza (15 min.), and Sensoji Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade in Asakusa (40 min.).
12:00 - 12:20 p.m.
Following a drive through Ueno, the tour will disband in Akihabara or at Tokyo Station around noon, leaving you free to explore Tokyo on your own in the afternoon.
Day 3: Tokyo
9:00 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to attend a Japanese tea ceremony (75 min.) near Tokyo Station.
11:00 a.m.
After the tea ceremony experience ends around 11:00 a.m., you will be free to enjoy Tokyo on your own. The guide can tell you how to return to your hotel.
Day 4: Tokyo - Kamakura - Yokohama - Tokyo
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to join a one day tour to Kamakura and Yokohama. In the morning, travel to Kamakura by motorcoach (90 min.) and visit Kotoku-in Temple with its Great Buddha (20 min.), Hasedera Temple (40 min.), and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine (40 min.). Proceeding to Yokohama's China Town (50 min.)
Lunch
Enjoy a Chinese-style lunch in Yokohama's famous China Town. After lunch, visit Sankeien Garden (40 min.) and drive over Yokohama Bay Bridge.
5:00 - 6:40 p.m.
After returning to Tokyo by motorcoach, disembark at either Ginza or Shinjuku. The guide will tell you how to return to your hotel.
Day 5: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to join a one day tour to Nikko. In the morning, travel to Nikko by motorcoach (160 min.) and visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine (100 min.).
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. After lunch, visit Tamozawa Imperial Villa (60 min.) and Kirifuri Falls (30 min.) before returning to Tokyo. Note: On Tuesdays and other days that the Tamozawa Imperial Villa is closed, Rinnoji Temple Treasure Hall (60 min.) and Shoyo-en Garden (30 min.) will be visited instead.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
After returning to Tokyo by motorcoach (160 min.), the tour will disband in Ginza or Shinjuku. The guide will tell you how to return to your hotel.
Day 6: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to join a day tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. In the morning, travel to Mt. Fuji by motorcoach (120 min.), visit Fuji Visitor Center (20 min.), and drive up to Mt. Fuji's 5th station (30 min.) before continuing to Hakone.
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch in Hakone. After lunch, take a cruise on Lake Ashi (15 min.) and ride the Mt. Komagatake Ropeway (50 min.).
5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Check in at the Yumoto Fujiya Hotel.
Day 7: Hakone - Nagoya
8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Take a Kodama Shinkansen (bullet train) to Nagoya from Odawara Station (140 min.).
Lunch
After arriving in Nagoya, proceed to the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel for a buffet lunch. After lunch, visit Nagoya Castle (80 min.) and the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (60 min.).
4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Check in at the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel.
Day 8: Nagoya - Ise/Toba - Kyoto
8:30 a.m.
Walk from the hotel to Kintetsu Nagoya Station and take a limited express train to Ise (90 min.). Take a local bus from the station and visit Ise Jingu Shrine and Okage Yokocho (90 min.). Continue by local bus to visit Mikimoto Pearl Island (120 min.).
Lunch
Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. After lunch, take a limited express train from Toba Station to Kyoto (150 min.).
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Check in at your hotel in Kyoto.
Day 9: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
7:50 - 8:45 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to join a day tour of Kyoto and Nara. In the morning, visit Nijo Castle (50 min.), Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) (45 min.), and Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min.).
Lunch
Enjoy a Western-style buffet lunch. After lunch, continue to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple and Nara Park (60 min.), Kasuga Grand Shrine (40 min.), and Nara Nagomikan (20 min.). After Nara sightseeing is completed in the afternoon/evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kyoto.
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Return to your hotel in Kyoto.
Day 10: Kyoto

All of Day 10 is free.
Day 11: Kyoto - Takayama
9:10 - 10:00 a.m.
You will be picked up from your hotel to join a tour to Takayama. Board a Kodama Shinkansen to Nagoya (50 min.). At Nagoya Station, transfer to a limited express Hida for Takayama (150 min.). After arriving in Takayama, visit Yatai Kaikan Hall (30 min.), Kusakabe Folk Museum (20 min.), and Kami Sannomachi Street (30 min.).
5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Check in at Hida Hotel Plaza.
Day 12: Takayama - Shirakawa-go - Kanazawa
8:30 a.m.
Depart the hotel to go sightseeing in Takayama and Shirakawa-go before traveling to Kanazawa. In the morning, visit Takayama's morning market (30 min.), then continue to Shirakawa-go by local bus to visit the Gassho-zukuri Folk Village and Wada Residence (180 min.). After sightseeing in Shirakawa-go, travel to Kanazawa by local bus (75 min.).
3:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Check in at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa.
Day 13: Kanazawa - Tokyo
8:30 a.m.
Depart the hotel to go sightseeing in Kanazawa before traveling back to Tokyo. Visit Kenrokuen Garden (60 min.), Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln (30 min.), and Nomura Residence (an old samurai residence) (30 min.). At Kanazawa Station, board a limited express Shirasagi train to Nagoya (180 min.). At Nagoya Station, transfer to a Nozomi Shinkansen and continue to Tokyo (100 min.).

Check in at your hotel in Tokyo.
Day 14: Tokyo - Narita Airport

Baggage
Included for up to one piece of baggage from Hakone to Kyoto on day 7 and Kyoto to Tokyo on day 11. Additional baggage will incurr a fee of ¥2,200 per item. Light compact baggage is recommended for overnight stays in Nagoya on day 7, in Takayama on day 11 and in Kanazawa on day 12.

Remarks
1. For the tea ceremony on Day 3, public transportation may be used for transfer from Hamamatsucho Station to Tokyo Station.
2. In the case Toyota Commemorative Museum is closed, Noritake Garden, Tokuigawaen Garden, or Tokugawa Art Museum will be visited instead.
3. In the case Mikimoto Pearl Island is closed, Toba Aquarium or Futamigaura Shore will be visited instead.
4. Seating may not be available when using public transportation on Day 7 and 8.
5. The guide will not accompany the tour Toba to Kyoto Station on Day 8.
6. Depending on the number of participants, a private taxi or public bus may be used for transportation between Kintetsu Nagoya Station and Iseshi Station.
7. Locations indicated on the itinerary may be omitted due to traffic and operation hours. However, the tour will not be canceled or refunded even in such cases. The following are possible substitutes: Kamakuragu Treasure Hall, Yokohama Marine Tower & Yamashita Park, or Sky Garden of the Landmark Tower Yokohama.
8. Itinerary order is subject to change depending on traffic, weather, and operation hours.
9. Note arrival times may be delayed due to traffic conditions as this tour will travel by bus.
10. Earphone devices may be provided if there are over 15 participants in order to directly hear the tour guide.
11. A fine of JPY 10,000 may be charged if earphones are lost or damaged.
12. On Tuesdays and other days that the Tamozawa Imperial Villa is closed, the Rinnoji Temple Treasure Hall and Shoyo-en Garden will be visited instead. On days that these places are also closed, the Toshogu Shrine Treasure Hall will be substituted.
13. Heavy traffic is expected around the autumn leaves season (expected: Oct. 11 - Nov. 10), and the tour may be delayed, possibly resulting in changes to the itinerary. Snowy conditions on the trails to Kirifuri Falls in the winter (expected Jan. 1 - Mar. 31) may result in it being skipped and an alternative visited. There may be other cases when places visited on the tour are substituted due to operational concerns such as heavy traffic. In such cases, no refunds will be made.
14. The temperature in Nikko is typically lower than that in Tokyo. Please bring a coat and/or other appropriate clothing when participating in this tour from fall to spring.
15. This tour will involve a fair amount of walking including hills and stairs, especially at Toshogu Shrine and Kirifuri Falls, so please wear comfortable footwear.
16. As this tour will travel by bus, there may be times when arrival is delayed by heavy traffic.
17. Earphone guides can be used at Nikko Toshogu Shrine, but there may be cases when they are not used if the number of participants does not exceed 15.
18. A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged.
19. The bus may stop at some hotels in the Nikko area to drop off staying customers before returning to Tokyo.
20. Mt. Komagatake Ropeway may not be visited due to traffic on the following days: Apr. 29, 30; May 1, 2, 6; Jul. 15, 20, 21, 27, 28; Aug. 3, 4, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31; Sep. 7, 16, 23 , 28; Oct. 5, 12, 14, 19, 26; Nov. 2 - 4, 9, 16, 23; Dec. 28 - 30. Heavy traffic is also expected on Oct. 12 and Nov. 2, 3., and Lake Kawaguchi may be substituted for Hakone.
21. On days that the Fuji Visitor Center is closed or there is particularly heavy traffic, the Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped.
22. The temperature on Mt. Fuji can be 10 - 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. Especially for tours from fall to spring, it is recommended that you bring a coat.
23. From winter to spring, the road up Mt. Fuji may close due to inclement weather (e.g., icing, heavy snow), and the tour may not be able to reach the 5th station. In such a case, the tour will go to the highest point possible at that time.
24. Even at the foot of Mt. Fuji itself, a clear view of the mountain may not be possible due to weather conditions. Please note that the tour will not be cancelled and no refunds will be made in such a case.
25. Portions of the tour in Hakone including the Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani, and Lake Ashi cruise may be replaced due to traffic, weather conditions, or other operational concerns. In the case that one or more of these destinations is omitted, one of the following alternatives will be substituted: Narukawa Museum, Fujiyama Museum, Fuji Sengen Shrine, Hakone sightseeing cruise, Itchuku Kubota Art Museum, cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Kawaguchiko Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, Komagatake Ropeway, or Hakone Shrine. The tour will not be cancelled and no refunds will be made.
26. There may be times when the guide does not accompany the tour back to Tokyo by Shinkansen (bullet train) from Odawara at the conclusion of the tour. In such a case, the guide will tell participants how to return to their hotels in Tokyo before the group boards the Shinkansen.
27. On days that Nijo Castle is closed (Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December; Wednesdays when Tuesday is a national holiday; over the year-end/New Year's holidays), the tour will visit Ryoanji Temple or Daitokuji Daisen-in Temple instead. On days that the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays), Kitano-tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead. On May 25 and Aug. 25, Nishi Honganji Temple will be visited instead.
28. There may be days other than those stated above when the Kyoto Imperial Palace cannot be visited. In such a case, the itinerary will be adjusted in a similar manner.
29. Please note that you will be asked to fill out a form before entering the Kyoto Imperial Palace including your full name, sex, age, and nationality. You may not enter without filling out this form.
30. During the Gion Festival (July 14 - 16), pick-up/drop-off service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Hotel Monterey Kyoto, and Nikko Princess Kyoto is not available due to road closings.
31. During the Jidai Festival (October 22), Heian Jingu Shrine will not be visited. Chishakuin Temple will be visited instead. If the Jidai Festival is postponed, changes may be made to the tour itinerary to match.
32. Depending on traffic, weather, or other operational concerns, a bus may be used for transportation between Nagoya Station and Takayama Station, Takyama and Kanazawa.
33. Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. Please bring an overcoat or other warm clothing from fall to spring.
34. If the Wada Residence is closed or there is heavy snowfall, Nagase Residence or Myozenji Temple will be visited instead.
35. Transportation by bus from Takayama to Kanzawa will be a shared ride. Local transportation will be used in Kanazawa.
